ART PROJECT AGREEMENT - SIGNED 9/9/09 After months of planning and meetings with the City of Tampa, Palma Ceia Business and Design District is thrilled to announce that we have entered into an agreement with Marc De Waele, Art Symphony Galleria to construct a "landmark sculpture" on the southeast corner of Bay to Bay Boulevard and MacDill Avenue. The art structure is made possible through a joint collaberation with The City of Tampa, The Tampa-Hillsborough County Expressway Authority and the members of Palma Ceia Business & Design District. Special mention goes to our Belgian artist Marc De Waele who is donating his time and energy to build the beautiful art sculpture and Jeanette Mellody, of Beef O' Brady's who has donated the funds for the materials in honor of her late husband, Jim Mellody, founder of the family sports pub. As the plans unfold, we will be posting details of our ribbon-cutting event celebration. VIEW MARC DE WAELE's BIO, PLAN DRAWING AND ARTIST'S NOTES
